"The Power of Self Esteem" 18x21 Colored Pencil by Eileen Sorg
Over the past several months, nationally acclaimed colored pencil artist Eileen Sorg has been working on this amazing new show. Consisting of six new pieces, each piece (which we refer to as paintings because of the overall effect), represents weeks and weeks of exacting precision as she designs and details each wonderful, delightful offering. Capturing our hearts and imagination, Cole Gallery is thrilled to present the show "The Power of Self Esteem"!

I have felt so odd not blogging on a regular basis but I have really been focused on creating new work for my April show at Cole Gallery. I am happy to say I am nearly done and so excited to have these new pieces finally seen by eyes other than mine and Scout's! The show starts April 1st (no joke) and runs through the end of the month. Edmonds has a great artwalk on the 3rd Thursday (April 19th) and I will be at Cole's that night so I hope to see some of you there.
It is also getting close to Spring class time and I wanted to remind you of where I will be just in case....
I am not teaching a whole lot this year so I hope that one of these sessions will work for you if you are interested. Email me if you have any questions.
That's all for now but I shall be blogging more regularly from now on so stay tuned.
I am a full time artist in the Pacific Northwest. I live, eat, sleep, and sweat art. I hope this blog inspires and educates you as your mildly entertained.
